I could care less the name of the actor, I wanted to see the before and after pictures. That would be more believable

Actors Who Are Nearly Unrecognizable In Costume

Special for MSN Movies

Some actors use method acting to get into character, while others go deep into costume -- so deep that you may not recognize even the most famous of faces.

This summer, one of film's great chameleon-like actors takes on yet another role that has him unrecognizable, this time as Caesar in "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." A gifted motion-capture actor, he's also responsible for playing the unforgettable Gollum in the "Lord of the Rings" film franchise. (Who is he?)

Among horror, fantasy and sci-fi films, there are plenty of roles in which famous actors undergo transformations worthy of double-takes, be it through advanced animation or good old-fashioned costuming. Can you guess these other actors in costume?
