 The "Twilight" cast featured in Vanity Fair magazine, November 2008. The actors cast in "Twilight" were mostly unknown when production began in early 2008. The only one I'd ever heard of at the time was Robert Pattinson, because he played Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire." (Duh, I'm also a huge HP fan.) Elizabeth Reaser I kind of remembered because she played Ava in several episodes of "Grey's Anatomy." Other than that, I'd honestly never heard of the others or had seen their work. How things have changed! These actors' lives are now documented on an almost daily basis--it's nuts, really. I was at the grocery store the other day and almost every single magazine at the checkout had Rob's face on the cover, even if it was a small photo in the corner. They are followed by the paparazzi when doing the most mundane everyday things. But before, during, and after "Twilight," they've been very busy with other projects. Good for them. I knew she looked familiar when I saw the movie the first time, then I picked up this other movie The Messengers I saw before Twilight, and joila there she is on the cover! I also knew Rob Pattinson looked familiar but that's because I watched all the Harry Potter movies too. The others I never saw in any other movie that I remember. Everyone should check out Kristen S's earlier work though, she's awesome... and I saw her do her "seizure" thing again in Panic Room. Both good movies.
