Okay I must start with I totally think Bella should be with Jacob he loves her more than anything and he could make her happy. So your wondering why I have this on the team Edward side, well because I although I think jake is rad Bella will never stop thinking about Edward no matter what. Just because Jake is best for her and loves her doesnt mean that she will ever be able to give him what he deserves someone who thinks he is there number one. He will always be second best to her no matter what. Which isnt fair and it wont last. That is why I'm team Edward even though Jake is amazing and so much hotter. | umm...HELLO! Jacob all the way. he's unrealisticly GOREGOUS and he would have been such a better match for Bella. i don't think he could be any more perfect with his AWESOME muscles. so what if he's closely related to dogs? that just means he will be more loyal (let's not forget: HOW many times did Edward leave her?) EDWARD ROCKS! I, haev so far, been in 15 fights with my Team Jacob friends (Whether they are online or real life friends or not).
I mean seriously, Jacob is soo...manipulative ? He KNOWS that Bella is completely and irrevocably in love with Edward...and okay, so Edward left Bella once in New Moon...but it was for her own good! and so what if he was there when Edward wasn't? Who made Bella totally heartbroken and cantatonic in the first place?! Jacob is just a replacement for the short while! And then, when Edward is back, he goes and forces his way into the couple and then get all 3 hearts broken! OH why oh why Jacob? Just go find your own love! Edward and Bella BELONG together!! | I've got to say I've always been TEAM JACOB!!! Since the first time I met Jacob in the books he's been my choice. I think Taylor Lautner does a great Jacob, he is totally HOT! But think about it, Jacob always put Bella first, he always told her the truth, even if the truth wasn't pretty. I was glad that Bella got Edward in the book, because Jake is too good for Bella, she doesn't deserve someone like Jacob. He deserves someone who loves him and makes him number one. I'd be the first one in line for the job, lol. But, alas, he has Renesmee. I wouldn't mind Quill imprinting on me lol. But if I could choose a guy in real life, it would be a Jacob, because he has all the traits that we women look for- tall, dark, handsome, strong, loyal, loves to smile, but has that "bad boy" attitude that attracts us all. Lets face it, "Bella was born to be a vampire, its obvious in breaking dawn. But I hope that we get more. I want to know about Jacob and Nessie, how they deal with the Volturi in the future. I think that Leah deserves a happy ending. I think she should imprint on the other "half-vampire" in Breaking Dawn. For some reason Leah tugged at my heart in the book and she deserves to be happy, just like Sam is. So Stephanie need to give us the rest of the story. I'll have to find a way to email her! | I am, and always will be, Team Edward. Although I do confess I felt sorry for the shape-shifter for a while but once I read Eclipse, Jacob became number one on my list of annoying people. If I were Bella, I would also pick Edward. I am an avid reader and hopeless romantic; Edward (book version) embodies all the qualities I look for in a guy (and we also share some of those qualities)...so he is just MY brand of heroin. | JACOB FOR LIFE. He is everything I would want in a man...sweet, caring, a best friend, and most of all a protector ( don't forget SEXY! ) . He understands Bella more since they were friends before this vampire/human/werewolf relationship started, and thats how it stayed. He isn't trying to be mysterious in anyway, and he is just being who is is. He lives life to the fullest ( umm...cliff diving! ) ! He believes that there is a spot for him in Heaven unlike Edward, and will stick to his descisions.

He loves Bella in a very real way. He connects to her and understands her completely. There are no control issues. Even Edward's character sees that (eventually). I felt horrible for Bella to be so torn and not wanting to hurt Jacob. In the end Jacob receives in my opinion, his reward for enduring and being a great friend to Bella, regardless of her final choice. Jake was NOT annoying - just after Renesme was born he starting going kinda werid but BEFORE that he was GREAT. He is not SAD! (except after Renesme, and the threats and the kiss thing can be forgriven.) | As if true love gives you options. Anyone who has ever been in love can testify that you don't choose who you fall in love with. It may not always make sense, but it happens. I understand why some would choose Jacob, but what you all fail to realize is Bella doesn't have a choice. She is in love and nothing and noone can change that. He's intense, he's beautiful, he's everything a girl could ever want. But he is also somewhat unattainable-I mean he is a vampire, and she is a human, so that, I believe is also a big draw for her. In the movies, I love Taylor because he suits the character and sicne Rob DOES look the character he doesn't suit the character!

| Edward is awful. He doesn't respect Bella's choices, and he is WAY too overprotective, besides he was like a stalker at first. Jacob is more like a brother, though, and he isn't even very protective, and gets pissed pretty easily.

| I am all Team Edward - how could you not be for him? His dedication, his beauty and his charm are what makes him the perfect choice. I will agree that Jacob is gorgeous also but something about Edward makes him irresistible. I am a 33 year old mom of 2 and my 14 y/o daughter is mortified over my obsession of Edward (and Robert too!) but what can you expect - she is Team Jacob! | Sure, Jacob has temper issues, but can you blame him? He was there for Bella in her time of need when Edward just dumped her after communicating in soooo many ways that she was the one for him.
Jacob has come through for her the best way he knew how over and over and over. Who cares if he's one measly year younger? Edward is friggin' old for Bella, any one considered that?
Not to mention I am a fan of food, being able to have more than one kid, and growing old has gotta be some kind of fun. You can't get that with Edward. Change is a good thing.
With Jacob, a girl won't ever have to wonder where they can and can't go in public without wondering if he's going to start shining like he rolled around in craft sparkles.
Jacob is warm, buff, inviting-Edward is not. Edward is strong, but he doesn't have the buff, yet tenderness that I know Jacob has.
Edward reminds me of one of those "super-hot" guys you meet at the mall when you're a teenager, lust after for a while and maybe more, then move on.

in my opinion, the book and the movie can be in no way compared.
i will always be Team Edward forever, because i fell in love with him reading the books. (i re-read them weekly! i know, i'm so pathetic!)
but as far as the movies go, Taylor Lautner has so much more talent and he actually created jacob. i have issues with the movie because Edward and Bella's love was never real or developing. it was just like, all of a sudden, okay, i guess they love each other now. i think Taylor's gonna stay a lot truer to the character. after seeing New Moon, i'm almost postive that i'll be cheering for Jacob for the rest of the movies.
but like i said, in the books, edward will always have my heart. haha <3 | If you asked this after Twilight, I'd say Team Edward. If you asked this after I read New Moon, I'm team both. Edward is Bella's true love, Jacob is 'just' her bestfriend. I think every girl who read the book are in love with him. He's just perfect and he really loves Bella. And that is the most important thing.
So, GO TEAM EDWARD <3 | when i was younger i had to choose between my "edward" and my "jacob". i picked "jacob" because he was more stable. and i have a very stable life. i just wish i could be with my "edward" every once in a while. since bella is a character and doesn't have to live in a real world i pick edward for her! she doesn't have children or responsabilities so she should be with her true love. |
| NO doubt about it, it is Team Edward all the way!! Jake is an in your face pushy jerk to Bella during the books. While everything turns out right in the end, and as much as it saddens me to say it, He might have had a chance if he wasn't so pushy. 2 times in the book, he forces Bella to kiss him, once when he wont let go, and then again when he makes her feel guilty. Edward is a Gentleman and donest have to push himself, in fact he tries to so hard to stay away, but the Love that draws them together is an unbreakable, unforgettable and a greater then them bond that is not broken by time or distance. We'd all be lucky to have a man like Edward. However, I fear he has ruined it for mortal men, *sigh*. | I've always been a Jacob fan, even before I watched the movie. There was something about him that I liked, he was just so honest and pure of heart. He stands by the people he loves and puts them first. When Jacob first shifted into a wolf, he ignored Bella for a week or two, and I can understand why Bella was so worried about him as this is not something that Jacob does. He loves Bella so much that he can let her be with Edward without throwing out their friendship. I think that Edward only agrees to let Bella go to Jacobs house without a fight is because Jacob had set a good example, letting Bella be with the one she loves. Bella loves Jacob very much, but a different type of love to what she has with Edward. I believe that Bella has truly listened to her heart, and knew deep down that Jacob would understand and respect her feelings. I think that Bella is very lucky to have both Jacob and Edward in her life, and I'm very happy that Jacob has imprinted on their daughter! I never wanted Jacob to end up with Bella because she just didn't seem like the kind of girl that Jacob could be with long term. He needed someone who he could protect, and Bella is a woman of her own. Even Edward doesn't even get to control her decisions! So, that is why I'm with Team Jacob, so honest and not afraid to stand up and say how he feels, even if he does get rejected. He is very down to earth, a very lovable kind of guy! |

EVER! read other vampire novels too. | In the end i chose Edward because in New Moon i felt Bella's pain. I know what it feels like to have the love of your life leave you for watever reason. And even vampires make mistakes. Edward just wanted Bella to have a real life, and did not just want her life to end where it was it. And in the end he came back to her-well she went after him- but he proved his love for her b openly letting her choose between him and jacob and even telling her maybe it would be better to choose jacob. I love jacob, hes hott hes sweet but hes selfish and wasnt the one Bella was in love with. Edward is. | Jacob is warm and loving, makes whiney little Bella laugh, and is majorly attractive. Edward is cold, emotionless, a stalker, old, he sparkles (I mean, seriously, how much more ridiculous can it get?) and he hurts Bella in every way you can imagine. And also, he wants to eat her. | I am team Edward all the way! andpretty much the only reasons i hear for choosing team jacob are superficial! wh ich is dumb... yeah i dont care who you are looks do matter ( atleast a little bit) but edward has so much more going for him.. if they were identical twins there would be no doubt based on personality and values, and everything else i would 100 percent choose edward | Bella and Jacob are perfect for each other. They have been friends since they were kids. And isn't that the basis of a dating relationship?; a friendship? As Jacob had said, it would just be natural, but you can not stop a solar eclipse.
And I don't even understand why Bella fell for Edward in the first place. I mean, she thought he was hot, and he thought her blood smelled good? The book gives virtually no reason why they fell in love, and their relationship seems so rushed.
I think that if Edward never had existed (OMG she just said what?!) Jacob and Bella would have been soul mates. Plus, with Edward never existing, Jacob would have never shape shifted into a wolf, and both of them could have enjoyed nice normal lives without having to surrender their very souls. |

After watching Twilight, I am amazed that there is even the question of Edward or Jacob. There is only one answer-Edward of course. There is no comparison between the two characters. There's definitely not a comparison between actors. Robert Pattinson is in a league of his own.

I am Team Edward. I have been enamored with vampires for a very long time (way before Twilight). I even took a vampire class in college (just one of the reasons University of Pittsburgh rocks!) The idea of immortality appeals to me. Plus if Edward was my soulmate I would want to live forever with him. If I ever find out vampires exist...I hope to be bitten...I know that sounds extremely strange, but I don't care.
Edward is not perfect, Bella is not perfect and guess what Jacob isn't either. I love them both for who they are, what they believe in and how much they both deeply care for Bella. I pretty much hated Jacob trying to come between Bella and Edward in the beginning of Eclipse. I also was screaming mad when I started reading New Moon. I was reading a vampire series and all of a sudden my "perfect" vampire leaves and I am stuck in a werewolf story. I am not a fan of dogs. However, the scene in Eclipse right before the fight when Jacob makes Bella kiss him (not nice to force someone, by the way) then she realizes that she loves Jacob too and kisses him back. Holy Cow! Best kissing scene in a book EVER! I can't wait to see that on the big screen! At that moment my hatred for Jacob lessened. I can see how Team Jacob has formed, but for me there are no otherworldly creatures except vampires.

| There is just something about Bella and Edward together that fits. Everything he did, he did for her including leaving her for a while thinking it was more dangerous not to, (yes, I know it still was and would be anyhow, but HIS thinking was pure) Jacob is one of those that you could be close friends with and always will be, but only that... | This is a tough choice. Edward is beautiful, immortal, super smart, and rich. But he's also kind of scary and totally controlling, he treats Bella like a stupid child or something. That would drive me crazy if he did that for eternity, hello??? But Jacob is so young, and as sweet as he is, he seems more like a kid brother than anything else. Ugh, hard choice. Hah, maybe I'd just stick with Newton the human. But that's boring. |
| It's sort of funny because when I read the book, New Moon, I totally hated Jacob's character. Even though Edward was sort of an antagonist for leaving Bella and leaving me with that gut-wrenching feeling of heartbreak that Bella was feeling in the book, Jacob still seemed too pushy and over bearing. Bella does owe a lot to him, for getting her out of her funk (for the most part) and all but he always seemed to have ulterior motives behind his kindness. From just reading the first two books out of all four it is evident that what Bella and Edward had was a true pull towards one another and honest unconditional love that in reality hardly ever occurs. The fact that Jacob tried to constantly get in the way became annoying. So with that after finishing the second book I was totally team Edward (well team Emmett actually, but he doesn't count here ha ha). However after seeing the movie, Twilight, and being introduced to a physical representation of Jacob, the line between which side to choose became blurry. Especially in New Moon, Jacob seems so much more yummy and passionate and deserving to Edwards cold and overly mature somewhat dull self. I can decide which team to choose. Who wouldn't want someone to love them like Edward but adversely Jacob is so spontaneous and fun loving and filled with life...plus he's SO nice to look at! Especially since he got all those new muscles! |

| I have to admit that I'm mostly torn between the two. While Edward is the epitome of an old age gentleman, of which we desperately need more of nowadays, I am going Team Jacob on this. Jacob is more realistic as a person I can picture meeting today. He has a sarcastic sense of humor, an AMAZING bod, but he's sincere and although he may be the one to lose it in an argument, he is also not afraid to offer a lifetime of servitude for you to forgive him. He just seems to me like someone actually obtainable and downright adorable. I'd rather have him hold me then Edward. I'd hate to be thought of as fragile and Jacob would be able to get rough and who doesn't want a passionate physical love as well as emotional. It's all about Team Jacob for me. |

| At the end of the day Edward wins and gets the girl anyway. Team Edward!! But I'm not Bella so if it were me (yes I love both edward and jake) I would chose edward dude! Edward's number one quality is that he's self-less. But like any human he makes mistakes as much as Jacob. We all felt or feel sorry for Jake bec of his unreturned love from Bella. This is where Edward has him beat, if Bella didn't love Ed anymore he would man up and let her live her life. Yes he can be over protective but come on you really think a man who would leave his true love bec he thought HIMSELF too dangerous of course he would feel uncomfortable with Bella being around easily moody wolves. At first Jake seemed like he would do anything for Bella until his desire to fight was too great. He wouldn't even comparise with her so she could keep her sanity and he could still protect her. You dont tell your true love "get over it" Like wtf. And sure your vamps may burn while my sparkle but mine arent afraid of a freaking stick to the chest! | I've got to say, TEAM JACOB all the way. I am honestly glad that Bella doesn't get Edward. She isn't good enough for him. Jake deserves someone who would put him first, not settle for him because she can't have the one she wants. Me, I'd want Jake. I think Edward is hot too, but he is the one for Bella, and in the books, it's pretty obvious that Bella was made to be a vampire. She's a natural. So I'd want Jake to imprint on me, lol. On a different note, I need more! I'd love to read more about Jake and Nessie in the future and how they deal with the Volturi. I also would like to see Leah imprint on the other half-vamp. I'd like to see a happy ending for Leah. So there is so much more to write about and we'd all love to read it. I hope that Stephanie will read these and think about giving us more of the story! |

| team Edward, why u ask Edward is Bella's other half more than a solemate. the books describe his struggle to be there for her to protect her even willing to sacrifice himself and there unborn child in eclipse when he found out she was pregrent. i think because the books are written from Bella's point of view we never really get a strong sense of that. there love is deep and forbidden and a connection like that can't be denied. ok and i will admitt Rob is way HOT!! and an amazing actor he makes Edward even more beleavable. |
