This is what started it all, this 498-page Young Adult book about a 17 year old human girl who falls in love with a 108 year old perma-teen vampire.

"Twilight" put the rain-soaked logging town of Forks, Washington, on the map, brought about cases of OED (Obsessive Edward Disorder) for millions of females the world over, and launched a craze for sparkly vampires that has shown no signs of slowing down. If anything, the interest in these immortal, bloodthirsty hotties has created its own genre, setting off a wave of books, movies, and merchandise.

i have read the entire series , obivously the books are more in depth than the movies so far especialy when it comes to the shared emotions between bella, edward and jacob. i have seen new moon and wasa bit disappointed i think they rushed the whole scene where with bella and edward was reunited . I am hoping that in the future movies like eclispe and breaking dawn we can see some more romantic intimate action between bella and edward. iwould recommend anyone to read the twilight series , i am sure you will be craving for more when have finished reading....

I have read the series twice now. I have the twilight movie, and will be purchasing the New Moon when it comes out. I also have the soundtrack, which is fantastic!

To Antoinette Cullen: I completely agree. This series is supposed to be different and it works. Vampires don't have to burn up in the sun or show themselves as monsters. There is another side and that is what Stephanie Meyer brings to the table with Twilight. I know I enjoyed all the Twilight books and I was never a person who read for fun. These books really did it for me and I love everything Twilight. I would definetly recommend them to anyone. TWILIGHT ALL THE WAY!!!

Every time I think about Twilight I can't stop thinking about Twilight. I wasn't going to read this book then i said "Sure why not" and i loved it. I bought all of the books and re read them all the time. My vote goes to Twilight and will stay Twilight forever. fianlly some people who have some taste!

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I'M A 39 YEAR OLD MOM AND I HOPE MY DAUGHTER WILL ALSO BE A TWILIGHT FAN WHEN SHE GROWS UP! THE BOOK WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE MOVIE. SADLY, YOU CAN'T SHOW ALL THE EMOTIONS ON THE SCREEN AS YOU CAN DESCRIBE IN A BOOK. I THINK ROB IS GREAT AS EDWARD... KRISTEN I'M NOT SO CRAZY ABOUT. MAYBE I'M JUST JEALOUS!
