Twilight Superfans BlogDISPLAYING POSTS WITH KEYWORD TAG: BELLA.  According to the Chicago Sun-Times Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are negotiating their contracts for "Breaking Dawn" in tandem. With the possibility of the final book in the "Twilight" saga being made into two films, negotiating their contracts as a team could mean an extremely lucrative outcome for the three main actors of the franchise. Though nothing is yet on paper, there is word the huge box-office hauls of both "Twilight" and "New Moon" -- and the likely success of "Eclipse," already shot and due in June -- has the three actors likely to be able to demand paychecks well into eight figures for the next two films. He's still not quite sure how his little company was chosen by the prop master for "Twilight," but the team was happy to take on the "challenge of turning drawings provided by the filmmakers into actual jewelry." Thurber and his team--which include goldsmiths  Kelli Alton and Randy Estes--had no idea that their creations would become a part of the cultural phenomenon that is the "Twilight" franchise:So for Thurber, Alton and Estes, crafting the Cullen family crest pieces in silver was just another job. "We weren't thinking it was going to be as big as this," Alton says. "No clue," Estes agrees. "We kind of thought the movie was going to go to video," Alton adds with a laugh. "I mean, vampires?"  Artisan's Designs has crafted jewelry for "Twilight," "New Moon," and "Eclipse." Thurber estimates that they've created close to 75 pieces for the first three films--this includes jewelry for the "Cullens," as well as duplicates for their stunt doubles.They also created the Volturi crest for "New Moon," which appears on the chairs in their coven. It’s not me personally.” But his hard work is inescapable: he started learning karate at age six and moved on to Xtreme Martial Arts, relocating with his family to Los Angeles to pursue acting and stomaching the bullying that came along with it. He put on 30 pounds of muscle between the first two Twilight films. He found time to shoot the upcoming Valentine’s Day with Taylor Swift, with whom he “instantly clicked,” he admits. “Aside from being beautiful, she’s extremely funny, charismatic and fun to be around.” But as Strauss discovers, Lautner is quiet and guarded, more of a Zac Efron than a Lindsay Lohan, as far as young stars go. “He’s so picky. I like to think that my tastes have grown more sophisticated by now, but I may be delusional. I do see movies and read books in a wide range of genres, and I enjoy them immensely. But when it comes down to it, I love the escapism and otherworldliness that fantasy brings me. I can't yet discuss The Deathly Hallows without choking up. I've watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy so many times that the DVDs might actually be wearing down. I get a wistful look in my eye when I think about the Arthurian legends. And when I watch Twilight, I actually giggle like a schoolgirl when Edward first walks into the cafeteria. Hey I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek. Huge difference, right? So I love geeky games and gadgets. But I am also very social, I love clothes and makeup, I can sing and dance, I like the outdoors, and I enjoy my drink. I guess that makes me...a well-rounded geek? WYSIWYG. More about me.
