This very cool video featurette shows some behind-the-scenes bits of the Edward vs. Felix (the giant Volturi) fight scene in "New Moon." Hear several of the cast talk about filming this scene, including Rob, Kristen, Michael Sheen, and several of the other Volturi. Director Chris Weitz and Stephenie Meyer are also featured.

I am already totes dreaming of what the extras and bonus features on the "New Moon" DVD will be like. Raise your hand if you want a 4-DVD set, with three DVDs filled with cool extras like this featurette!

More Volturi up-close-and-personal shots from "New Moon." Those red eyes really are creepy. Even in person, the actors looked a bit scary with the red eyes...something about them makes your animal instincts kind of slightly shudder.

Michael Sheen

September 8, London--Michael Sheen was at the GQ Men of the Year Awards at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden when he dished to the BBC Newsbeat about his upcoming role as Aro in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

He said: "I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: 'What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?'

"And it wasn't, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out."

"There's a lot of security but there was nobody hanging around the set or anything like that," he said.

"I think all the Twilight fans are very well behaved on the whole, they let them do the work and then when they're out and about they go a bit mental."

Sheen also spoke about getting brownie Michael Sheen as Aropoints from his daughter for his role in "New Moon":

"When they first asked me if I wanted to do it, I hadn't read the books or anything, so I had to ask my daughter what the character was like without tipping her off… because I didn't want to get her all excited if I didn't end up doing it.

"She said she thought Aro, my character, was bald but he's got long black hair so I hope I haven't ruined it for her by not being bald. She cried when I told her.

"No matter what happens I have to be at the premiere in LA. That's the whole reason she wanted me to do it, so she could go to the premiere."

Summit Entertainment just emailed these official HQ photos of the Volturi. The shots are amazing, very well done. I'm so glad to finally see these, as I couldn't take photos during my "New Moon" set visit in May!

Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, the angry and sadistic one who wants Bella, Edward, and Alice killed.

Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, the solemn, indifferent Volturi who will mourn the loss of his love for eternity.

Cameron Bright as Alec, Jane's twin brother, whose power to completely disable the senses of multiple persons is highly valued by the Volturi in battle and executions.

Dakota Fanning as Jane, Alec's twin sister, who can inflict debilitating pain with her mind.

Here are some stills of the Volturi.

Demetri with Alice, looking very dangerous and threatening. Alice is properly terrified. (Love her oxblood red gloves, btw.)

Jane makes her entrance, as she escorts the Volturi's "guests," Edward, Bella, and Alice.

Can I just say how excited I am to see these stills? This was the set I got to visit in May, along with many of the actors who we met and saw--so to finally get a glimpse of the finished product is incredibly thrilling. My set visit article is here, if you haven't seen it yet.

So what do you think of the Volturi? Do they look as you'd imagined? Share your Volturi thoughts below!

Michael Sheen as Tony Blair in "The Queen"Michael Sheen as Lucian in "The Underworld"

He's played Lucian in The Underworld series, Prime Minister Tony Blair in The Queen, and David Frost in Frost/Nixon, but Michael Sheen will reportedly be getting his biggest paycheck yet for his role as Aro in New Moon.

The Daily Mail has confirmed that Sheen, 40, will portray Aro, the leader of the Italian coven, the Volturi, in the highly anticipated follow-up to Twilight:

"Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting to The Mail on Sunday and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.

‘Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,’ he said. ‘Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.’"

It will be very cool to see Sheen go from the lycan world to the vampire world! Offscreen, Sheen is also known as Kate Beckinsale's babydaddy.

The Cullen kids at the Forks HS cafeteria.Okay, here is this week's poll! The vampire powers listed are only from Twilight and New Moon, so the ones we learn about in the later two books aren't choices.

I think I would go mad if I had Edward's ability to hear people's thoughts. The noise level would be unbearable, and listening to the random drivel of strangers would probably render me an insane vampire. Personally I like Alice's power.

Tell us about what you chose and why!

Like this poll? Then take this one from a couple weeks ago, if you haven't yet:
"Who is Hotter, Edward or Robert?"

When I was a kid my favorite movies were Star Wars, The Sound of Music, and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. I like to think that my tastes have grown more sophisticated by now, but I may be delusional. I do see movies and read books in a wide range of genres, and I enjoy them immensely.

But when it comes down to it, I love the escapism and otherworldliness that fantasy brings me. I can't yet discuss The Deathly Hallows without choking up. I've watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy so many times that the DVDs might actually be wearing down. I get a wistful look in my eye when I think about the Arthurian legends. And when I watch Twilight, I actually giggle like a schoolgirl when Edward first walks into the cafeteria.

Hey I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek. Huge difference, right? So I love geeky games and gadgets. But I am also very social, I love clothes and makeup, I can sing and dance, I like the outdoors, and I enjoy my drink. I guess that makes me...a well-rounded geek?
