 I like to enter contests. Usually book related ones. I even won one once which resulted in a sweet trip for two to San Francisco and the chance to meet some private investigators and the author of one of my favorite series. In another, I was one of ten finalists who got a lovely book and a fancy wine opener for the consolation prize. Contest enterers are delusional, incredibly optimistic and persistent.So. Have you entered these contests?
By following publishers on twitter, you get access to quick, one-day book giveaways often only open to their followers. Even good old Martha has been doing it.
