This store rocks because: Let me count the ways. The collection of books is excellent and huge, running the gamut from children's books (tastefully chosen) to cooking, travel, nonfiction and literary fiction. The staff is friendly. They have amazing events. And you get a frequent buyer discount.
Best nearby reading/noshing spot: They're right next to El Diablo, a cuban cafe joint (live music, delicious java). Even better, they're down the street from Chocolopolis so you can buy your books and then have a transcendent cup of cocoa afterward. |  | Username: AbOnline

This store rocks because: It is loaded with a beautifully curated selection of kids' books, also offers used books, has a cozy reading area, as well as a secret reading spot hidden under a tree out on the deck.

This store rocks because: The staff are amazing, the recommended selections are exactly right, they are very local- and YA-friendly, they have great atmosphere with their tilty wooden floors and dockspot styling, and they sponsor author events near constantly. (Plus, getting there on the ferry IS half the fun.)

This store rocks because: IT IS UNIQUE AND FOR A SMALL TOWN HAS QUITE A SELECTION OLD AND NEW VERY REASONABLE PRICES, AND A LOCAL YOUNG LADY RUNS IT EXCEPTIONALLY WELL FOR HER YOUTHFUL AGE! ITS JUST WONDERFUL!!!
