My favorite thing about going on vacation? Finding a to-die-for local bookstore. Whether I'm Schnappsing in a ski chalet or lounging by a pool, I love having a new book to keep me company. Usually, the best bookstores are also in the coolest part of town and near a fantastic café (or sometimes even in a café.) Getting to know a neighborhood bookstore is your ticket to living like a local.

My favorite bookstore isnt' part of a chain. Just some little hole in the wall, this place smells like books kind of place. its called "Books Al". He's got books from ceiling to floor and narrow little aisles. Finding a book is like treasure hunting. I love that place! Oh, its at 10th and Post Rd. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
