In this highly charged political season, these 10 films deliver many happy
returns

Another presidential election year, another blitzkrieg of propaganda,
half-baked promises and spin-fueled shenanigans. 2012 promises to be no
different than ... more other high-stakes election years, except for the fact that the
fighting might get even uglier. The new Will Ferrell/Zach Galifianakis match-up "The Campaign," whose tagline is "May the best
loser win," is aptly timed, and it is the latest in a cinematic lineage sending
up the political process, from the campaign trail to the corridors of power. It
seems like our elected officials and their lackeys are always running for office
even when they're in it, and the following 10 films have a field day lampooning
their diversionary tactics.
