Mayer Tweets about Brit's lip-synching

Nov. 9, 2009 -- Never one to hide his feelings or limit his inner snarkiness, John Mayer took to Twitter on Saturday, Nov. 7 to warn music fans that anyone expecting Britney Spears to sing her own music at a concert had better get used to ... moredisappointment. Mayer and Spears were both in Australia over the weekend to promote their albums. But controversy has followed Britney around the country, as fans decried the possibility of her lip-synching at shows last week, then walked out on her concert after she did indeed mouth her way through the first few songs.

"If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back," quipped Mayer, "life may continue to be hard for you."
