What five albums or singles are in heavy rotation for you
now?
- Todd Snider's "The Devil You Know": One of my favorite artists.
A great set of songs.
- Patty Griffin's "Children Running Through": She's one of the
best.
- Gary Allan's "Tough All Over": A deep look into some real
issues we face. Not very common for a country artist these days to tackle
personal demons.
- Sugarland's "Enjoy the Ride": A fantastic, feel-good record
from a great band.
- Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska": Obvious reasons.
What one song or album can you always listen to and how did you find
it? "Red Headed Stranger" by Willie Nelson. I grew up with this record and it
always has something new to offer me when I give it a spin.
What was the first record you ever bought and do you still have
it? "Abbey Road" by the Beatles. Yes.
What was the first live show you ever saw? Triumph, Houston, 1983.
What was the best live show you ever saw? Todd Snider in 1996. We opened for him somewhere in South
Carolina. It was the first night of a tour together.
Do you have any guilty pleasures you'd care to
reveal? Music.
