What five albums or singles are in heavy rotation for you now?

  1. Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars": I was at their concert when they played here in Dublin recently, and "Chasing Cars" for me was the highlight of their gig! (Read Snow Patrol singer/guitarist Gary Lightbody's answers to What Are You Listening To?)
  2. Low Millions' "Eleanor": A brilliant up and coming band, I love their stuff, hope they do really well 'cause I think they're class! (Watch "Eleanor")
  3. Josh Groban's "Remember When It Rained": Just bought his new album, this is one of my favorite tracks. I could listen to him for hours, he's amazing! A dream come true for me would be to have the opportunity to one day record with him!
  4. My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade": I've been a fan of them for years, but am loving all their new stuff ... it's so cool! (Watch "Welcome to the Black Parade")
  5. Take That's "Patience": Such a brilliant comeback song, delighted they're back in the charts! I'm always singing along to their stuff ... old and new!

What one song or album can you always listen to and how did you find it?
A song I know I will never get tired of listening to is Michael Bublé's "Home". I remember being very homesick on one of our long tours last year, and this song came on the radio just as I was about to ring home, and every time I hear it, it reminds me of my family and friends. And when I'm flying back home to Ireland at the end of a tour, just before the plane takes off, I always listen to it. It's a tradition for me now!

What was the first record you ever bought and do you still have it?
I think the first record I ever bought was Spice Girls' "Wannabe" when I was 7. I really wanted to be a Spice Girl ... I was their biggest fan!

What was the first live show you ever saw?
My mom took me to see Garth Brooks when he played in Ireland. I was 6 years old and I think the only 6-year-old who knew all the words to every Garth Brooks song!

What was the best live show you ever saw?
This is a tough one ... I'm such a huge music lover and have been to see so many amazing concerts over the years! And one of them was when Faithless came to play an outdoor gig here last summer. I was with all my friends and we had one of the best nights ever! But I always say I think the best live show I've ever been to was when Green Day played in Dublin a few years ago. It was one of the best experiences of my life! They were just fantastic! I loved them before seeing them live but loved them so much more after seeing them live!

Do you have any guilty pleasures you'd care to reveal?
Not many people know it, but I'm a huge country and western music fan! As a major Garth Brooks fan as a kid, I really fell in love with the style of music when I discovered, at the time, an 11-year-old Billy Gilman! He just really made me want to sing that style of music, so much so I would love to get the chance to record country and western music sometime in the future. I recently bought his new album and have been driving my mom and little sister mad going 'round the house singing his songs all the time! I'm a huge fan and have been for nearly eight years ... I'd love to meet him sometime! Shania Twain and Dixie Chicks are other faves of mine! A true country and western chick at heart I think!
