Divine Intervention: There's no doubt Jennifer Lopez is a beautiful woman. But not every beautiful
woman benefits from playing Goddess for a Day. Take this bejeweled, behemoth
Marchesa lilac gown, which is a head-scratching choice for a star known for her
callipygian comeliness (that's a fancy way of saying she rocks the
junk-in-the-trunk look). Instead of choosing a dress that will have us marveling
over her shapely posterior and impossibly teeny waistline, she instead has us
wondering if she's incubating the spawn of her more cadaverous half, Marc Anthony. Also not working for Lopez: Her AARP-approved,
Aqua Net-cemented wavy coif, which looked far more stylish atop the noodle of Mary Tyler Moore as she giddily tossed her hat up into the
Minneapolis sky circa 1970.
