Synopsis: Joan Crawford is appropriately cast as the title character in This Woman is Dangerous. Crawford plays master criminal Beth Austin, the lady friend of dangerous gangster Matt Jackson (David Brian). After being caught in the crossfire of a robbery engineered by Jackson, Beth recuperates in a hospital, hoping to keep her past a secret from the authorities. This Woman is Dangerous is a great title for a 1950s melodrama, and it's a shame that the film itself isn't as good as the title. Woman isn't bad, mind you, but that title prepares you for a real humdinger of a flick -- and then the finished product lets you down a bit.
