Overview
 Synopsis: Though technically the producer of "The Six O'Clock News," Mary must still answer to Lou Grant (Ed Asner) for all final decisions. Bristling at Lou's interference, and anxious to prove her own worth, Mary insists upon being permitted to put together an entire newscast all by herself.
