 Starring: Synopsis: Long before organizing Troma Pictures with Michael Herz, filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman ground out the 16-millimeter comedy Battle of Love's Return. In contrast to the later raunchy output of Troma, this highly personal piece is an innocuous tale of a born schlemiel. Kaufman himself plays the leading role of a New Jersey naif who finds himself a fish out of water in bad old New York.
