Synopsis: Though primarily known as a British musical comedy star, Jack Buchanan also appeared in a handful of silent films. One of the best of these was 1923's The Audacious Mr. Squire, adapted from a play by Syndey Bowcett. The dapper Buchanan finds himself the central figure in a snowballing comedy of errors, predicated upon the old mistaken-identity ploy.
