Synopsis: Six screenwriters, all real-life friends, each wrote one of the sequences in this romantic comedy-drama that unfolds at a half-dozen parties and celebrations. During a cross-country trip, Joe (Eric Stoltz) proposes to his girlfriend Sarah (Meg Tilly) with his best friend Frank (Craig Sheffer) looking on. Rory Kelly's largely forgettable indie has a talented cast and some bright moments. A loose collection of scenes which track the social gatherings of a vaguely arty, underemployed group of late-twenty-early-thirty-somethings, the film is held together by the increasingly disruptive obsession of Craig Sheffer with the wife Meg Tilly of his best friend Eric Stoltz, and has the look and feel of something ...
