Synopsis: Screenwriter Philip Dunne doubled as director on the elaborate filmed biography Prince of Players. If Prince of Players is not a great film, it does afford the inestimable pleasure of seeing a young Richard Burton performing a number of scenes from Shakespeare, and that is a pleasure not to be sneezed at.
