Synopsis: Also known as Nada, The Nada Gang is a lesser effort from director Claude Chabrol. A group of European terrorists calling themselves the Nada kidnaps an American ambassador. Their hideout is besieged by a sadistic police official and his minions. Thanks to the official's eagerness to pull the trigger, everyone winds up dead, including the ambassador. Writer Jean-Patrick Manchette's leftist political thriller Nada receives a detached and darkly comic treatment from director Claude Chabrol. As he portrays the confusion and mayhem surrounding the kidnapping of the U.S. ambassador to France from a high-class Parisian bordello, the director seems to have little respect for both the revolutionaries and the French law enforcement.
