Synopsis: A typical, fast-paced Grade-B murder mystery, Mystery of the White Room was based on the then revolutionary medical breakthrough of corneal transplantation. The shortest of the "Crime Club" murder mysteries, Mystery of the White Room presents its location and its characters in a logical manner, which is more than most B-movies can claim. And although it is by necessity shown in a rather sensationalist way, corneal transplantation was already then a valid medical procedure and its inclusion here makes the mystery angle even more intriguing.
