Synopsis: Dana Andrews is ad-man Clint Lorimer in this uneven drama, the last feature film by director Bruce Humberstone, released several years after it was completed. Clint is fired from his job working for a big ad agency, and he is determined to prove himself better than his former bosses. He has two romantic liaisons, one with Peggy Shannon (Jeanne Crain) and another with Anne Temaine (Eleanor Parker). A distant cousin of such earlier films as Executive Suite, Madison Avenue wants to be a glossy expose of the dog-eat-dog world of the public relations/advertising business. This should make for a crackling good movie; not necessarily great drama, but at least a film with a jazzy, high caffeine energy and vibrant characters that at the very least is fun to watch.
