Synopsis: Eric Eason's stylish sophomore film, the crime thriller Journey to the End of Night, features Scott Glenn and Brendan Fraser as a father and son who unknowingly have each bet their individual futures on a stolen suitcase. Catalina Sandino Moreno plays Glenn's wife, and her motivations are as questionable as everyone else's. Journey to the End of Night starts bad, with an attack on a drag queen, and ends worse, with a never ending slo-mo shoot-out so convoluted it's difficult to care which characters live or die. The set-up, involving a high level coke deal, a suitcase full of money, father and son brothel owners, and various innocents caught in their path is prime crime fodder.
