Synopsis: Kenny Ortega's High School Musical 2 reunites the cast from the hit made-for-Disney Channel original to tell another story in the lives of the musically inclined students attending East Side High. High School Musical 2 is much slicker than its predecessor, and this works both to the film's advantage and its detriment. On the plus side, the choreographer is much sharper this time around. Many of the early big numbers work like old-school musical numbers from the forties and fifties.
