Synopsis: This Runyonesque fable serves as a vehicle for TV quiz-show host Hal March. The star plays con artist Marty Holland, who for his own financial gain plans to fix the outcome of a beauty contest. The winner is supposed to be Rita Hall (Jean Willes), the brassy girlfriend of big-time mobster Irving the Hammer (who, worse luck, never appears in the film).
