Synopsis: Humor was never his strong suit, but Sinatra was a trouper. After his vocal chords alarmingly failed during a performance in 1950, Sinatra caught a break when friend Bob Hope favored "Old Blue Eyes" with a guest appearance on the NBC special Star Spangled Revue. Still recuperating, Sinatra was limited to a single song. That meant he had to fill the rest of his time bantering and doing comedy sketches with Hope.
