Synopsis: This Latvian farce makes fun of modern Russian history. The protagonist is Iwan Raczynski who was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. He, using the pen name John F. Romanoff, writes Russian epic novels. His newest book covers three generations of his Russian family, beginning with his great-grandfather in 1882, as they deal with the political turmoil.
