Synopsis: Elgar is a made-for-TV semi-documentary about English classical composer Sir Edward Elgar. Shot in black-and-white, the film was made as part of a series of composer biographies by Ken Russell and originally broadcast on the BBC in 1962. Elgar worked as a music teacher in the Malvern Hills before reaching his stardom as a composer with the famous "Pomp and Circumstance."
