Synopsis: Cowboy ace Tom Mix allowed himself a change of pace with this costume adventure produced by Fox. Mix plays the legendary British highwayman, who after robbing nasty Lord Churlton (Philo McCullough) learns that the nobleman is to be married to innocent Lady Alice Brookfield (Kathleen Myers), a gun-shot wedding, so to speak, as the lady considers Churlton loathsome. Tom Mix's loyal fans reportedly did not quite cotton to their hero having forsaken the range in favor of Merry Olde England. Perhaps scenes such as Tom actually hiding behind leading lady Kathleen Myers' petticoats did little to change their minds but the sequence remains utterly charming.
