Synopsis: This video presents the art collection of Dr. Albert C. Barnes, who used his wealth from the pharmaceutical industry to buy works of French Impressionism. The business tycoon opened a museum in 1925 in Merion, PA, to show his vast collection. It contains works by well-known French Impressionists and other turn of the century artists including Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Rousseau, and Picasso.
