It took me a minute to get accustomed to Ice Cube's style of "taking care of business", but as the movie progressed you knew his patience level was not the most admirable characteristic that he possessed! Who cares about how realistic the first tank jacking was? In this day and age, I enjoy watching people "put foot to ass for my country". Critics destroyed this film. What do they know, they see it for free and say good or no good. I paid my hard earned money to see it, and didn't feel like i wasted my money. And that is all I want from a movie. I thought this movie was far better than the first because Cube is believable and a hard nose ex military man. The stunts are far better than the unrealist stunts in the first XXX, such as jumping a 50 barbed wired fence from doing a bunny hop on a dirt bike. None of the stunts in the new movie even come that close to being so ridiculous. Cube bring his NWA brand of acting to the screen. All the scenes are non stop hard hitting action. The actions are from the beginning right until the end. Ice Cube has done a good job. The show was better than expected and I can honestly say it is as good, if not better than xXx I. THis was a good action movie that rock all movie theatres. I suggest if you haven't seen it go right away. I'm for sure you will love it and you won't be able to tell what's going to happen next. Ice Cube was at his best performance ever. Samuel you always good. But Ice Cube never would have expected so much out of you. Very Good! They couldn't pick a better person. But this film does it and does it very well. One of the best action flicks I've seen in a good while! No mush-mush, no heavy drama here. Just lots of action!!! And dynamic special effects. Explosions, gunfights, hand to hand combat from beginning to end. Ice Cube, Samuel Jackson and Willem Defoe did an amazing job with the crappiest storyline I have ever had the misfortune of watching. If not for the actors amazing abilities this movie would have not been worth the film it was printed on. If you are a fan of any of the actors mentioned you will probably enjoy the movie. If you are a lover of destruction, you will absolutely love the movie. If you want a movie with a good storyline to follow...don't waste your time or money with this one because you will be disappointed. Overall I enjoyed the movie because I am a fan of the actors but would not pay to see it again...I will wait to see it again on HBO or SHOWTIME. Was this review helpful?
