Hugh Jackman's acting was impeckable and he was as sexy as ever!!! The movie wasn't predictable but you kind of knew what was probably going to happen if you watched the first one and that is also a reason why I love the movie. The actors did a terrific job with all the stunts and scenes. I would recomened this movie to all of my friends and family as well as anyone who I met on the street. That's not the only reason though, the X-Men movie did a good job telling the stories of each the X-Men without lengthing the movie. The scene that really stuck out the most; that would have to be the scene with Gene Grey trying to get a hold of her powers. She stepped up for the X-Men balancing the plane and elements at one time; it was a chance she took with no regard for her life. What bravery she showed. Can't wait to see what happens in the sequel. Is Gene alive? Who's the next Magneto? These are really good challenges to look forward too. 4 star family flick Was this review helpful? Sign in 1 out of 1 users found this helpful X men RocksThis movie was definitely better then the first, especially the special effects which were way above the last one. What did bother me was the over abundance of good characters. They have so many great characters in this movie that there simply isn't enough time to handle all of them well. They should reduce the number of characters and then cocentrate on a story that revolves around them rather then showing tid bits of every character. It sucked that they had Cylops unconcious for half the movie. His interactions with Wolverine are always a great enjoyment. Overall though it was an excellent movie that stayed true to the comic books which is why I give it 5 stars. Definitely one to not miss. Was this review helpful?
