It always has a great mix on the plots and the personal lives of the characters. One of the best new shows to come out on in last few years (much BETTER than ER!). Was this review helpful? Could you tell me who does the musical vocals on the show and are they available on CD? My husband and I both enjoy the music. Keep up the good work and don't muck with the cast. We like the fact that they are all just friends and they are not romatically involved with each other. I think that takes from the story line. Was this review helpful? There are times where the light reflects in just the right way, the actors get a look just right, the music fits just perfectly that you wish that there was a new episode every day. But then you realize that there would be nothing to look forward to, so you agree to just one a week.Some shows you can only watch an episode once, since the element of surprise is gone. But you feel yourself conecting to all the characters that you want to watch again to relieve their triumps and their upsets.One of the great things about this show is that it doesn't always end on a happy note, but you always walk away from the TV feeling satisfied. Compelling drama, riveting urgency, beautifully shot and filmed...I haven't seen one weak episode of this series. If CSI is CBS' most highly rated show, Without a Trace is most certainly its best. Well acted and scored, the most intriguing aspect in terms of the characters is the sublimated relationship arc between Jack and Samantha (Anthony LaPaglia, Poppy Montgomery.) The subtext is there for the viewer to decode, or you can enjoy the episodes on their own merit. Here's hoping Without a Trace continues to perform well in the ratings and pick up even more momentum over the summer. This show could beat ER. Was this review helpful? I enjoyed the premier with my friend Thom Barry opening the scene. I was very disapointed when he was not a regular.
