I usually do not like cutesy animated films, but this definitely was not one. It was hilarious and a great film. I especially like the comment about the large rabbit dropping and the box in front of wallace that said may contain nuts. I brought 2 friends with me to see it and we all were laughing histerically at some point. It was so good, I would definitely add it to my collection of movies, well I already have the day it came out... but if you havent seen it, make sure you check it out!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 children ages 9,6, and 3 and they all loved it!! I myself enjoyed the bits of adult humor that was added to the plot for parents enjoyment. I would say that this film rates right along side Chicken Run, so if you enjoyed Chicken Run, you will definetly enjoy Wallace and Gromit. Was this review helpful? I know some people will find this hard to believe, but it scared my daughter. She has just turned 5 and we also went with my 7 year old son. He was not scared and thought it was funny, but she wanted to leave almost the whole way through. It was just too dark for her. We did stay to watch the whole movie, and at the end she said she liked it, but she kept her eyes closed for half of the movie. Bottom line, if you have a child who is easily spooked, do not take them to see Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Was this review helpful? It has a whole bunch of different characters with a very different story, dont worry it still has classic moments. This goes down in Wallace and Gromit history with no dissapointments. Its a classic. The animation and acting are done flawlessely, it makes you laugh, just entertains and will over and over and over!! This movie definitely puts any other ClayMation movie in the dust! This was by far the worst thing since Moulon Rouge. I dont walk out of movies--I love movies and even start to crave when I have been away--so believe me when I say it really takes alot to make me leave. This stupid movie was just boring and ridiculous! So just when I got my seat nice, warm and cozy I had to go--dont bother with this one-- Was this review helpful? This movie is as sweet and heart-warming as sipping a hearty mug of hot cocoa by the fireside on a cold night, yet at the same time, it will have your sides splitting with uproarious laughter! Its easy to see why kids love this flick, but the adults I have met who have also fallen head-over-heels in love with this dynamic duo are some of the most intelligent, successful, sophisticated and even cynical over-achievers I know. Nick Park is truly a genius, and WG The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is not only brilliant, it is a labor of love that has earned its place in the history of film.

Parks continues to raise the bar and win fans over the entire globe with his work! Claymation is difficult & very time consuming AND a lost art. Love the shorts, but this movie was just something spectacular to watch. The audience seemed to be mixed & very enthusiastic, though it took the little ones watching W + G for the first time, a little time to understand the characters(Gromit doesn't talk, but says plenty!). Many levels to enjoy, which is why I think I need to watch it again because I'm sure there were more jokes that I missed the first time. Yes, it's that good. Was this review helpful? Sign In | ||
