Great movie. I have never been that impressed with Pixar movies before, but this one was fantastic. Very funny and it does not need that much dialogue. The actions of the robots, and humans, were humerous. Not sure why people are offended by this movie, unless they feel they fit the mold of the animated characters. If your kids do not understand the message, explain it to them. That is what allows a child to learn.

Excellent. Every European who's seen this loves it. Every American hates it. At least the ones I've spoken to. Of course I do live in the Bay Area in California, so what do you expect. If you want to see how America (and Americans) will look in the future go see this this bitter sweet movie. At last an animation which does not portay the typical overly happy, naive, and predicatable story line (don't get me wrong - I do love Shrek and Toy Story etc) - but it's just nice to have a change once in a while.

Wait till this comes out on dvd and throw it out, it would be more exciting than this movie was. I think my 6 year old daughter could come up with a better movie about 2 robots. Beep beep, bang bang, Im fat, save the earth pretty much sums it up.

I loved this. My husband loved this. My 6 year old adored it. I don't see where the problems are for people that had to explain to their kid what weas going on. What's to explain? There's Wall-E. He's working his butt off to clean up the mess that people left. He's lonely. Do you really need dialouge for this? Then he meets someone. And that someone leaves and he feels alone. abandoned. No words for that are needed. Thats your dialouge-less situation. Why is that hard for kids to understand? My kid got it. But then again I teach my kid about social responsibility. We randomly go pick up garbage. We recycle and don't shop at Walmart and Costco. We encourage abstract thought and problem solving. So, as for me and my house, we can not wait for this to come on DVD. Wall-E rocked!

I loved this movie. It wasnt boring. It was funny and cool. It was awesome. You should see it. I loved it. It was one of the best Pixar movies to come out!! Id reccomened to see it. I will buy it on dvd at Walmart for the low price of 14.89. It comes with a bonus disc. The coloring books also interest me. (1.98-5.99)

I took three kids to see WALL-E, ages 4, 9, and 11. The four-year-old, who sits through animated movies, was completely bored and ready to leave within the first half-hour. The older kids were able to sit through the whole thing, but they were not excited about it. The first hour of the movie is virtually without any dialogue, and the repeated scenes of the robot sorting through various garbage in a landfill was overkill and boring. This movie just doesn't work for the intended audience. Nearly every reviewer mentions their kids not understanding what was going on, and they are right. Having to give my kids whisper-explanations throughout the movie just to keep them from falling asleep is not my idea of a good time. There were a few interesting parts, but overall this was a huge disappointment for all of us. Wait to see it until it's free on TV, and even then, have something else to do while it's on. Not worth a the price of a ticket or rental for sure. It's too bad, too, because I really do think it should be possible to make an entertaining and engaging movie with an environmental theme. This wasn't it.

A beautiful movie that was visually stunning with sweet story and a good message. The people who bashed this movie so much are just seeing themselves in the mirror as the overweight, addicted to technology people in this film. This film was amazing and adorable and made me laugh. I even almost cried.

Of all Pixar movies, this is the worst!! I'm trying to keep my self awake during the movie. You could tell too that the people in the theather were bored and dissapointed after the movie ended...yawning, and talking how bad the movie is, or just want to get out there.

My four-year old sat still for the whole movie. She had some questions about the plot, but understood enough to be captivated. This is the only movie where, upon leaving, she asked immediately to see it again! I really enjoyed it as well, and especially appreciated the environmental message.

As soon as most disney-fans heard that there was a new pixar animation, they intended on seeing it. They received HUGE expectations. Many were let down. This heart-warming tender movie was loved by many adults but not so many kids. The plot can be confusing a lot of the time, and most kids under the age of 6 PROBABLY wouldn't understand what's going on. Overall, this movie is around the middle, but I would highly recommend renting it as soon as it comes out.
