Blake Edwards manages to deliver his best work by creating an exquisite environment full of cinematographic delight, exceptional acting and a great musical score. You just cannot take your eyes of Julie Andrews who has blended her two roles almost perfect. Robert Preston is cast perfect as a down on his luck singer and Lesley Ann-Warren steals the show as the annoying mistress of a Chicago gangster. She's so good that you will wish being the one that puts soap on her mouth. The musical score and the songs are top notch and play great in a home theater environment. This one must be in all good collector's stock. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page | ||
