Date  Helpful Rating 2 out of 3 users found this helpful  Guess I just don't get it.Posted: 10/1/2003A review of Truth or Dare by akwaman71 My favorite part of this LONG movie of Madonna relentlessly trying to make herself look as good as possible all the time - though anyone who's done the school play will recognize her backstage banalities ("Lord, don't let me lose my voice or forget my lines, and...uh...let us be awesome!") - was when Kevin Costner riled her up by calling her performance "neat". She welcomes being exalted as a goddess or reviled as a degenerate, but can't stand having her basic mediocrity as a performer exposed. That little moment told it all. Was this review helpful?
