Classic telling of the tale in the WB heyday. In the time of occupied France, on the isle of Martinique; Captain Harry Morgan runs a casual sport fishing launch along with his gin-soaked First Mate trawling for Marlin and other game. However the oppressive Vichy activists are now concentrating their efforts toward rooting out the Patriots in the area and the Manager of Harry's hotel impunes his assistance for the Underground. He prefers a severe neutrality until a weary traveler known as ";Slim"; moves in next door and helps him to collect on an old debt. Many parallels can be drawn between this effort and the more notable 'Casablanca' including the smuggling of political rebels and the care-free piano player who surfaces once again in the form of musician-composer Hoagy Carmichael probably during the height of his career. A solid piece of entertainment, 'Just put your lips together.... and blow!'
