Tin Man was promoted extensively by the Sci Fi channel,so I had expected this wonderful masterpiece, although it didnt quite live up to that expectation it did not disapoint.I thought the casting was exellent, every actor gave each of the well written charater such life.Cinematically it was beautiful, even the dark sections of the O.Z. had life and still managed to give the apperance of how drab this once beautiful word had become.I really enjoyed the unique way the original story was still used and able to still have a totally new story right along with it.I could go on and on,but my final thought will be that I hope the Golden Globes and the Emmys dont ignore Tin Man,because it truly shines.

Tin Man is a three part mini-series that is a modern tribute to the classic cinima masterpiece The Wizard of Oz. On and off the mini-series seems to only relate to the classic film in title only and even less with the books written before, but do not let that be a deturent. As a movie, it is very well written, great story line, excelent actor selection for their respective roles, and overall very enjoyable. It manages to keep you guessing what will happen next without leaving that annoying cliffhanger feeling at the end of each respective segment. All and all, it is a good mini-series that you wouldn't mind watching a few times more (provided you have the time, it is in three 2 hour segments).
