I found myself tapping my feet to every second of the james bond theme. Renard played a great villian and i think years from now he will be remembered somewhat like Oddjob or Jaws. She would make a good lap dancer, not a nuclear scientist. The traditional beggining scenes before the theme title was probably the best I've seen, however everything good basically stops right there. Brosnsan did another good job as did Sophie Marceau. It seemed liked they rushed the production of this movie. I'd wait to see it on T.V. Was this review helpful? Although James Bond tends to predictable, after forty minutes I knew everything I needed to know. I really don't see why they made this movie a Bond Movie, the story would hae been a better Die Hard. But then i thought to myself, Hey maybe it is. i picked 4 stars for this movie because i love all james bond movies and the action sequences were really swell. and i thought that the acting was great like peirce brosman and definatly denise richards. The action in this movie was up to par as far as 007 hits go, but the cheesy acting just overwhelmed me on this one. I was not particularly impressed with Denise Richards performance. The lines seemed as if they were being read off a tele-prompter. Final analysis: wait for it to hit NBC. Was this review helpful? Both Bond Girls just weren't as good as past ones, and there could have been way more action. And Bond's car! Like let us see what it can do first!!! The boat chase on the Thames river is unbelievable as well is the Parahawk attack on bond.
