In The Whole Nine Yards, Matthew Perry played a mild-mannered suburban dentist named Nick who lives next door to Jimmy The Tulip Tudeski, an in-hiding mobster played by Bruce Willis. Now Nick is married to Jimmys ex-wife, Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge), and Jimmy is married to Nicks former assistant, Jill St. Claire (Amanda Peet). Nick seeks Jimmys help when Cynthia is kidnapped by the Hungarian mob in The Whole Ten Yards. This is a sequel to the 2000 movie The Whole Nine Yards, I am a fan of these movie I really liked the first one I thought it was funny and a new take on comedy. Now with The Whole Ten Yards it is the same thing the same kind of comedy only this movie is better. This movie stands up to the first it is a upgrade. I gave the first one four stars because I loved the cast and I love the comedy and it was a really good movie. I am giving this movie for stars as well but I really did like this one better. Everyone returns to make this movie Bruce Willis who is mostly known for his role in the Die Hard series and The Fifth Element . Matthew Perry who I think is the funniest one in both of these movies. He stared in my favorite TV show Friends which ran for ten season. Amanda Peet and Natasha Henstridge come back as the wifes only to the opposite men. The first film ended as if they could not make a second movie the characters stories were all out and there was not plot left. But I saw the new movie because I felt that how could they get more story out of this movie so I had to see it. I said to myself that this movie would most likely be like the Halloween movies were they are just stabbing the movie and draining the story out. But with The Whole Nine Yards they really did get a good story out of what was left. Now will there be a The Whole Eleven Yards? I dont think so. The Whole Nine Yards is SO much BETTER then the first. The Whole Nine Yards is funny and an unbeatable comedy. The Whole Nine Yards is wicked-good.

this movie was so bad i had to stop it half way through. if you think threatening to shoot your wife in the face is funny then your a sick person, thats what a lot of the "humor" in this movie was like. there was a lot of just plain retarded "humor" too. don't see this movie.

I thuroughly enjoyed this flick. Granted both Perry and Willis have had better days, the jaded reviews recieved by my contempararies are disheartening. Can't you people just enjoy a good comedy for what it was meant to be... entertainment! If you have a random and quirky bone in you this movies got the goods. Most movies out and upcoming are predictable so if you're expecting a suprise here, don't.

-enjoy

my friend and i went to the movie expecting a whole two hours of laughter. instead, we got two minutes of kissing and a extra 110 and ten minutes of fun in the bedroom. thanks whole ten yards!

When the comedy "just happened" in the first one, it was really quite funny. In this one, it was forced to the point of idiocy. Matthew Perry's performance was good but Bruce Willis was working too hard. All the rest were overacting, stumbling, and inconsistent. UGGHHH! It went on too long for the bit of a story it had to tell.
