Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  what???Posted: 2/17/2009A review of The Uninvited by 666poisonous1 Honestly the movie was okay to begin with...but they seem to have copied after the movie "A Tale of Two Sisters" a Japanese horror movie. I'm not saying it was a horrible movie but they could've done a better job making it. Could've made it a bit more suspenseful too. The movie seemed to short to try to get the point across that she was "sick." My advice is to remake it or make a second one and make it more suspenseful. Was this review helpful? Was it written for one of the Cartoon Network's subsidiaries?

They are two entirely different movies, which is why I am baffled as to why the American version is named this. The movie is actually a remake of "A Tale of Two Sisters" which was beautifully done in the original, and I can't see this being that much better. The Korean "Uninvited" was actually directed by Soo-youn Lee. Why American cinema feels the need to remake wonderful Asian horror movies is beyond me. Was this review helpful?
