I mean the kiss on the mountain top that was really why i went to see the movie just to see that one kiss. It kinda felt like Edward was Jacob and Jacob was Edward in that respect. I dont have a problem with the actors in the movie, even though i feel they could have made bella a bit more sofisticated, and sensative, but they do play the parts well in my opinion they could have done better. I do believe that this movie was 10 times better than the other two. I loved it. They did get it right on this one, they even made it so even guys would enjoy it becuase of all the action! Its not like the other two: all around gooey and romantic, i think it had enough of everything for everybody. I give this movie two thumbs up plus a million mega pionts forthe good exciting feel of it. It really draws you in , i forgot i was at a movie theatre and not inside the movie myself. I don't know what possessed to screen writer to mess with a popular series as they did. Kristin Stewart is a total bore in the movie. She need to take 5 hour energy to wake up. I agree that the sparks that fly in the book are not shown between Edward & Bella in the movie. I felt there was alot of skipping around and the movie did not flow like the book did. I think that as a teenager-sure you'd think 'wow' but as someone who is older (and read the book) you'd be disappointed with the way the movie came out. I guess I was expecting more from Summit and all the hype before made it sound like it was going to be out of this world.
I am upset from the sounds of the media that Breaking Dawn will not be an R rated movie. The book screams for it. I am afraid that it might be a big let down if rated PG or even PG-13. Also, I am interested on how cruppy they have Bella look now so as a vampire she will look as hot as the book makes her fell she should.

It is a good idea to see it, though, because even though it wasn't that great, everyone will be talking about it. (Plus, TAYLOR LAUTNER!) Some of it was so stupid I laughed, though. like when Edward killed Victoria, it look like a terricotta, if you will, pot breaking. But overall, it depends what kind of person you are. Was looking for more to practice fight scenes - Bella sittinng with Jocob? We felt movie was too short, but does leave one wanting more & daughter thought it ended oddly - course she doesn't know what is to come as she hasn't read last book. Will be buying when comes out of DVD to put with my collection. It was our Twilight day - started at my house - watched first 2 movies then off to local theater. Will do this way again for next movie - we can hardly wait - we also feel there should be a "Team Charlie"! What a great DAD!

However Eclipse was just missing that passion that I got in reading the book. Once again the book far surpasses the film. There is way too much hype with the films and their actors. In reading the book "Eclipse" I was moved entirely by the story using only my imagination. I cried at the intense scenes with Jacob and Bella. I did not get that from the film. I still enjoyed it because I know how much time and effort these kids put into making these films. However the director is just not putting 100% into the film as the author is into her stories. Kudos to Stephanie Myers for her remarkable writing. Perhaps a new director? Anyway I will be seeing "Breaking Dawn" to finish off the story but I'm not anticipating the intensity in the film that the book has. Was this review helpful? I saw it with my sister, SIL, and niece. They had all read the books and were breathless to see it. I had read none of the books and had not seen any prior movie. With the exception of why Bella is such a bore, I didn't have any problem following the story. My SIL filled me in on why Bella is so boring, and so, whatever.
