He is sexy and full of action. I watch this moive twenty times. I wish the director pick a better Asia women for Jason to be in love with. From the previews I saw I really wanted to see the film. When I did see it, I was really disappointed. The idea of a guy who transports people's "goods," was an excellent idea when I heard of it. However when I saw the film I was tempted to turn it off. The story was so pathetically simple and one-dimentional. The acting was terrible and the action scenes I found repetative, dull and unbelievable. I also simply don't belive that the transporter would totally change his character like he did. He suddenly found a deep interest in helping the Chinese girl he was transporing, when his whole personality screams that he would do nothing. Then there was him opening the "package" to begin with. He wouldn't have. His own rule saying not to look at the package, but the film has him do it anyway. The cop would also have never let him out of his jail cell. I'd be frightned if anyone would do that. Even if the cop knew he was innocent, letting a vigilante out would not be at all realistic. There really needed to be more character development and more discussion of the Chinese people in the crates. The transporter found them way to quickly, and the movie spent to much time with the trucks. Simply put, if you want violence and action sequences with nothing behind them than this is your movie. But if you want the tiniest bit of substance, watch something else. Was this review helpful?
