Many beautiful elements in this film- as good as any of the Disney Classics. A truly beautiful film reminds you of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and The Beast. Very remarkable and gorgeous to watch and heart touching story songs and a best way to relax after a dreadful day at school. Was this review helpful? THE SONGS AND STORY ARE UNINSPIRED AND SEVERAL ELEMENTS JUST DO NOT MAKE SENSE. THIS IS JUNK THAT STINKS EVEN MORE THAN THE WORST OF DISNEY. THE CHARACTERS ARE DUMB AND FLAT (PRINCE DEREK IS SUCH A FREAKING CAMILLE! GROW SOME NADS AND GET A MANHOOD, JEEZ!) AND ODETTE IS A TERRIBLE INFLUENCE ON YOUNG GIRLS BECAUSE SHE PORTRAYS THE FEMALE ROLE AS ONE THAT REQUIRES THE HELP OF A STRONG MANLY-MAN. IF YOU REALLY WANT SOME GOOD (AND CHILD-SAFE) MOVIES, I SUGGEST BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, OR EVEN MULAN. Was this review helpful? It shows many morals: internal beauty, the hope to believe, friends who stand by each other, and that a good heart can conquer all trials. And it is cute and funny! The music is catchy, from artists including Lex de Azevedo. I'm a big fan of this terrific movie.... for ALL ages! =) Was this review helpful? Odette is just plain wierd. Derek is clueless, and Jon Bob is French. Odette has animal friends because she can't find any of her own species. Doesn't this movie sound great?!?!
