Even a magnificently inspired, Maria Bello proves insufficiently daring to save Richard Alfieri and Arthur Allan Seidelmans Chekhov-based chamber piece Sisters from pretentious psychodrama. But the movies a clumsy graft of Chekhovian high dudgeon and harsh, Albee-esque psychological realism that probably worked better onstage. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page | ||
