1) Michael Chiklis in Fantastic 4 and
2) Michael Chiklis in The Shield.

That is also why they switched away from the LAPD style badge, because the LAPD made them.

I love your show but I see one big problem, the uniformed officers have the badge on the wrong side!! The badges are not to be worn on the right side of the uniform...they are always worn on the left side, over the heart!!!!! The name tag is on the right side above the pocket. Not sure who your tech advisor is but he should be aware of his mistake and correct it for the shows sake. Had to say something about this........every time I watched the show it really bugs me!!
It is a fun show to watch, keep up the good work and fix the badge thing!!

The acting is superb, and the script keeps you glued to your seat. You never know what will happen next. People that don't agree with it's mature material -- get over it. Unlike the Soprano's something happens every week. Its not just people talking over dinner all the time. The characters are well written and better developed than the Soprano's (i.e. that whole Furio/Carmello nonsense). Since the first season is on DVD you should rent it and check it out. It has gripped my attention since it began airing last year. I have recommended the show to several others. The few who have watched are now hooked. Unfortunately, very few people I know watch the show, or know anything about it other than ";isn't that bald guy from the commish in that show?"; Too bad for them, and too bad for the rest of us who enjoy the most intense series on TV by far. Because without viewers, quality shows go away. ";Homicide - Life in the Streets"; comes to mind. NBC supported that award winning show many season despite it's lack of viewers before finally pulling the plug. I can only hope that FX continues to support the Shield, and that the show continues to grow and evolve. Hopefully, the awards will increase viewers, and the Shield will be here for many seasons. Quality TV doesn't present itself very often - take advantage of it! Was this review helpful? Chiklis deserves every accolade he is receiving. Although not meant to be viewed by children, this show deserves to be on earlier (10p.m. est) The realism is unbelievable!!!!
