Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  the shadow in a class all its ownPosted: 7/1/2006A review of The Shadow by Anonymous I thought that this was one of the best superhero movies ever made, and I ve seen batman and many of its counterparts(could have better, much better),daredevil(ditto), both spiderman movies with tobey mcquire, x-men, and x-2. I was amazed by Alec baldwin s acting, this was a guy who really could have been the shadow and Penelopes character although not love interest material, does a great job as a sidekick, usually sidekicks stink on ice , and theyre either incompetant, need saving, or just an annoying mascot penelope manages to actually help, lose the bird, batman and hire this lady. and the villian, I love the fact that he is very intelligent,and is quite civialized, usually super-villians have a take-out-the-biggest-gun-you-can-find-a nd-blow the-hero-to-bits mentality, the gengis character is for me at least a breath of fresh air, while the story has some moments of absurdity from a strict storytelling standpoint,the character depth and intractions will probably kept you from nocticing,enjoy the ride and dont be too anlyzing (sorry for misspelling) and the shadow won t let you down Was this review helpful?
