The scenes reminded me of what I went through with my own mother. I could relate to the sister decorating the room, the red pillow, emotions on edge, etc. My brother was the practical one, with emotions buried deep. There were many humorous scenes that broke the ice in a dismal situation.
If you have participated in the care or placement of an elderly person, you'll identify.
Maybe it's a sleeper, but it's real life with opposite reactions to a very difficult situation. The acting was superb. Was this review helpful? Critics and "artsy" people love it because they think it's so honest and moving and it make them feel like like they are in touch with the film community. It's junk. Not worth renting.
